Kevin Straub is a Principal of 5J Partners LLC, currently serving as an independent construction management advisor for JRE Partners, lending his extensive knowledge and expertise to select real estate investments managed by the firm. Prior to founding 5J Partners LLC, Kevin served as a Director at JRE and was responsible for the development and construction management for all JRE managed investments. Kevin was responsible for construction due diligence, underwriting and construction management phases of all new build and renovation projects on behalf of JRE, and interfaced with development and operating partners through construction execution. Kevin previously managed the development and construction for Junius Real Estate Partners, where he joined in 2013. Prior to Junius, Kevin held positions as vice president of construction and a project director at Zeckendorf Development, where he led the construction of 15 Central Park West and 18 Gramercy Park in New York City. Previously, Kevin worked at ValCon Construction Advisors, managing approximately $1 billion in construction fund allocations. While there, he also performed due-diligence property inspections for top commercial lenders and investors across the country. Kevin holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
